Battling the Boss
Rapidash X is a Flying-type Pokémon that evolves from Ponyta X starting at level 40. The Rapidash you fight as a Boss Battle has the Drizzle ability and is in its Storm Form from the get-go. This makes it a challenging opponent, as its speed is doubled in the rain and its Electric typing erases its weakness to Electric-type moves.
Strategy for Success
To defeat Xeno Rapidash, you'll need to use Pokémon with strong Water-type or Dragon-type moves. Water moves are doubled in power by the rain, and Dragon-type moves are super effective against Flying-type Pokémon. You can also use Pokémon with the Lightning Rod ability, which will redirect Electric-type moves away from your other Pokémon.
